Todd County Central senior X’Zavion West signed on Wednesday to continue his track and field career at Missouri Valley College.
The Rebel thrower eclipsed his own personal and school shot record on Saturday at the Hopkinsville Invitational when his throw of 43-3 earned the top spot. West finished 16th in the shot at last season’s 1A State Track Meet.
Missouri Valley is an NAIA school located in Marshall, Missouri that competes in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
After putting pen to paper, West talked about his college decision.
