Caldwell County’s girls suffered a 4-1 setback to Henderson County in tennis action Friday at the CCHS courts in Princeton.
Keegan Miller captured Caldwell’s only win, beating Abby Gibson 8-4 in singles action.
But Henderson took the other two singles matches, with Adi Kirtley edging Bella Stewart 8-6 and Courtney Troxel topping Ella Johnson 8-5.
In doubles, Gibson and Nora St. Pierre defeated Miller and Stewart 8-4 while Brennan Marsh and Troxel beat Meleah Greenfield and Lahkia Matchem 8-2.
Caldwell’s tennis teams next host University Heights Academy on Monday.
