Ethridge, Moore Lead Trigg Anglers After Day One of State Tourney (w/PHOTOS)

Trigg County put a pair of boats in the water at the KHSAA Bass Fishing State Championships on Friday at Kentucky Dam Village, led by Avery Ethridge and Aidan Moore in 26th place after day one.

Ethridge and Moore caught three fish on Friday for a total weight of 8-pounds, 7-ounces, including a 4-pound, 6-ounce Big Bass.

Hunter Shelton and Jordan Hampton have some ground to make up on Saturday.  They caught two fish for a total of 3-pounds, 10-ounces.

The East Jessamine duo of Ridge Rutledge and Ryan Sponcil lead the field after catching the five-fish limit for a total of 15-pounds, 5-ounces.

79 boats brought fish to the scales for Friday’s weigh-in. Anglers are hoping to have early success for Saturday’s final round with rain in the forecast for the afternoon.
