The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers will head into the postseason on a little bit of a roll. The Lady Blazers picked up their fourth win in their last five games Friday evening.
The Lady Blazers traveled down to post and came away with a 19-7 8th District win over the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons.
The 19 runs was the Lady Blazers’ highest offensive output of the season, surpassing the 17 runs they put on the board during the 2nd Region All A Classic against Dawson Springs.
UHA will head into next week’s 8th District tournament with a record of 7-8. They will take on Hopkinsville Monday night in the second semifinal contest of the evening.
The loss drops the Lady Falcons to 4-12 on the season. Fort Campbell will take on Christian County in Monday night’s first district semifinal game.
The 8th District tournament is being played at University Heights.
