Lyon County senior Brody Williams has been selected as the winner of the Barry Lutz/Jim Dorris Memorial Scholarship.
That award is voted on by the 2nd Region Umpires Association.
The award features a $500 scholarship.
Williams, who will play college baseball at Kent State University, is hitting .529 this season for Lyon County with 12 home runs and a team-high 41 runs batted in.
