Christian County senior Kevontrez ‘Trez’ Vaughn made his college plans official on Thursday, signing to continue his academic and basketball careers at Delta College in University Center, Michigan.
Vaughn moves to the next level after averaging over two points and two rebounds per game in his final season, helping the Colonels to a 10-23 record and barely missing out on an 8th-District title after a double-overtime loss to Hopkinsville in the championship game.
Delta College competes in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association in the National Junior College Athletic Association. The Pioneers finished 15-14, 10-6 in conference play, in the 2021-22 season.
After making his choice official, Vaughn talked about what led him to choose the Pioneers.
