In Lyon County’s opening game of the 2022 2nd Region baseball tournament, starting pitcher Corey Cissell gave the Lyons exactly what they needed of him. Cissell pitched 3 2/3-innings of shutout baseball, giving the Lyons offense plenty of time to get the game firmly under control, on their way to a 13-0 win over Madisonville-North Hopkins. After the game, Cissell spoke with YSE about the win and his performance on the mound.
