University Heights’ Sam Cotthoff turned in a record-breaking performance at the 1A Region 1 track and field meet on Saturday, taking the top spot in the Shot Put with a personal and school-best throw of 45-07.75.
Afterward, Cotthoff talked about his preparation leading up to the meet and his decision to continue his throwing career at Centre College.
