The Christian County Lady Colonels pulled away from Webster County on Monday for a 5-0 victory in the 2nd Region quarterfinals. Riley Hancock was dominant in the circle, scattering five hits and allowing a single runner past 2nd-base in a complete-game shutout.
Afterward, Hancock said she relied on her fastball to top the Lady Trojans and she looked ahead to Wednesday’s semifinal matchup.
