Christian County qualified a relay team for the state track and field meet and will likely have two more entrants head to Lexington.
The 400-meter relay team finished in second place to earn a trip to state. The 800-meter relay team came in third, less than a tenth of a second out of second, and will likely earn an at large bid.
Jaiden Northington, who is a member of both relay teams, will likely run at state in the 400-meter run after a third-place finish.
As a team, Christian County finished in eighth place with 28 points. Marshall County took the region title with 130.2 points.
