Crittenden County senior Tristan Davidson will compete in four events at next week’s Class A State Track and Field Meet.

Davidson won the high jump at last week’s region meet with a height of 6-feet, 4-inches which is three inches less than his school record.

Davidson will also compete in two sprints and a relay event at the state meet.

Davidson finished second in the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.65 seconds and placed fourth place in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.66 seconds.

Davidson was also part of the 1600-meter relay team along with Nate Faith, Rowen Perkins, and Kaleb Nesbitt that finished in third place in 3:43.67 and will run at state.

Karsyn Potter finished second in the shot put with a toss of 29-03.25 to automatically qualify for the state meet.

Payton Maness took sixth place in the high jump with a height of 4-feet, 8-inches which was good enough for a spot at the state meet.

The girls’ 3200-meter relay team of Ella Geary, Presley Potter, Aubrey Grau, and Mary Martinez finished in third place at region with a time of 12:00.66.
