Bethany Stallons leaves for Wyoming in less than two weeks. Cross country trips to compete in rodeo competitions are nothing new for her and the Stallons family.
They traveled to national high school rodeos while Bethany competed on the high school circuit. Now a junior at the University of West Alabama, Stallons will compete with her team at the College National Finals Rodeo on June 12-18 in Casper, Wyoming.
Stallons finished in second place in the Ozark Region competition in the breakaway roping category and was just five points out of first place. As a team, West Alabama won the Ozark Region this month since the 2005-2006 regular season.
