The Hopkinsville High School Tigers went 4-3 on the opening day of the Best of the West 7-on-7 football Friday at the Stadium of Champions and Tie Breaker Park.
After going 1-3 in morning pool play, Hoptown won all three of its pool games in the afternoon.
Hopkinsville will play Owensboro Catholic at 10 a.m. Saturday in the single-elimination portion of the event.
