Trigg County golfer Hunter Reynolds tied for 8th place Tuesday at the Bluegrass Golf Tour’s Cullan Brown Invitational at the Calvert City Country Club.
Reynolds opened with a three-over-par 75 on Monday and followed that with an up-and-down round of 74 on Tuesday. Reynolds began his day on the back nine with a quadruple bogey. He eventually settled down to shoot a 42 over nine holes.
He birdied four holes over his final nine to shoot a 32. At five over par, Reynolds finished 12 shots behind the winner, Rafe Blankenship of Allen County-Scottsville.
Hunter‘s brother Haydon Reynolds finished tied for 27th place. He shot an 82 on the first day and followed with an 83 Tuesday which included a birdie and nine pars.
