Caldwell County junior Austin Crick shot his way to a third-place finish on Friday in the Murray Invitational at Murray Country Club.
Crick fired a 4-over-par 76 to finish just two shots behind medalist Jack Butts of Paducah Tilghman.
Maddux O’Guinn of Graves County was runner-up with a 75.
Murray’s Grant Whitaker placed fourth with a 77.
Trigg County’s Haydon Reynolds was fifth with a 78.
Caldwell tied for sixth in the team standings at 368.
Camden McGregor shot an 87 while Carter Whittington finished at 102 and Ryan Hammett 103.
Next up for Caldwell’s golfers is the Hopkinsville Invitational on Monday at Hopkinsville Country Club.
