
Heritage Christian Academy got to see quality competition over the weekend at the Bluegrass State Volleyball Games in Lexington and came away with a pair of wins.
HCA split its Friday pool play games, falling to defending 8th Region champion Oldham County 21-13, 21-12 before knocking off Northern Pulaski 21-11, 21-19.
On Saturday, the Lady Warriors dropped a pair of matches against Lexington schools Paul Laurence Dunbar 21-6, 21-13, and to Lexington Catholic 21-11, 21-19. HCA rallied to end the day with a three-set win over Christian Fellowship 18-21, 21-15, 15-13.
On Sunday, HCA ended its play with a loss to another Lexington school Henry Clay.
HCA will open its 2022 volleyball season Friday at the VolleyJam in Tennessee.
