The Christian County Lady Colonels continued their preparations for the start of the 2022 soccer season Monday evening. The Lady Colonels hosted the Crittenden County Lady Rockets at the Stadium of Champions.
The Lady Colonels, who struggled at times to find the net last season, had that same difficulty Monday evening as the Lady Rockets took a 6-1 win.
Christian County’s goal came from Alayah Lander, who scored off a cross from Cayleigh Clay. Lander and Clay combined to get off seven shots on goal for the Lady Colonels in the match.
The Lady Colonels got solid defensive efforts from Jazzy Larkins and Addison Piatt.
Goalies Olivia Fentress and Cheyanne Rodgers combined to come up with six saves in goal for Christian County.
