
Seniors Preston Rager and Jacob Brandon finished a stroke apart to lead the Todd County Central boys golf team at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club High School Invitational on Monday, helping the Rebels to a 6th-place finish.
Preston Rager fired a 36 on the front nine and added a 42 on the back for a 78, followed by Brandon with a 39 and a 30 to finish with a 79. The Rebels finished with a team score of 324.
McCracken County’s Camryn Beatty took 1st-place with a 70 after topping Daviess County’s Grant Broughton in a playoff. McCracken County also took the team title with a 304.
Noah Rager was next for Todd Central with an 80, Jase Paul Hampton shot an 87, and Cole Sawyers carded a 95.
The Rebels are back in action on Tuesday when they host Butler County.
