The Todd County Central Rebels look ready to continue their late-season momentum from the 2021 soccer season. The Rebels journeyed to Dixon Tuesday evening and came away with a 3-1 scrimmage win over the Webster County Trojans.

The Trojans took an early 1-0 lead in the match, but the Rebels quickly got settled in and took control of the match.

The Rebels tied the match at 1-1 at the 20 minute mark when Tanner Henderson scored off a perfect pass from Chris Salazar. Henderson got his second goal of the night with 7 minutes left in the opening half, this one off an assist from Ric Garcia-Sears to give Todd Central a 2-1 lead.

The Rebels scored their final goal of the match just five minutes into the second half as Chi Herrera finished a cross from Ivan Lopez to make it 3-1.

The Rebels would then get some outstanding goal play from Jonah Rager to help seal the win.

Todd Central will open the 2022 soccer season Monday on the road at Hopkins Central.
