The Lyon County Lyons and the Logan County Cougars got in about 26 minutes of action Tuesday before lightning brought an early end to their contest in Eddyville.
Lyon led 8-1 at the time, but since at least one half of play had not been concluded, the game could not be listed as an official match. However, Logan elected to forfeit the contest instead of waiting out an extended weather delay. The match is officially a 1-0 win for the Lyons.
