To say Landon Hunt has been playing well in the early days of the 2022 golf season would probably be a bit of an understatement. Okay, not probably, it would be an understatement.
Hunt shot a 35 for nine holes Thursday afternoon to take medalist honors at a three-way match between Christian County, University Heights, and Hopkinsville at Western Hills.
Hopkinsville’s Andrew Riggs and Joey Falco took 2nd and 3rd place. Riggs finished his round with a 40, while Falco was two shots further back at 42.
Teamwise, Hopkinsville won the afternoon with a team score of 177. Christian County finished five shots back at 182. UHA was third with a team score of 190.
