The boys’ cross country team at Christian County High School opened the 2022 season Tuesday afternoon by traveling up to Owensboro. The Colonels were there to take part in the Kentucky/Indiana Border Clash.
The Colonels finished their afternoon with 398 team points. That total placed Christian County in 13th place. Jasper High School won the event, while Madisonville-North Hopkins finished in second place.
Michael Webb was the top finisher for Christian County. Webb finished in 40th place with a time of 18:41.1.
Jaryn Weinel, of Jasper, took first place. Peyton Nash, of Grayson County, finished second. Drew Burden, from Madisonville-North Hopkins, finished in third.
