The 2022 cross country season officially got underway for runners at Hopkinsville High School Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Tigers and Tigers traveled to Owensboro to take part in the annual Kentucky/Indiana Border Clash.
The Lady Tigers finished with 300 points in the team competition. That score placed them in 13th place for the event. Daviess County took first place, while Jasper High School ended up in second.
Lauren Mayes was the top runner for the Lady Tigers. She finished in 41st place with a time of 23:25.8. Rebecca Wood was not far behind her in 45th place with a time of 23:46.0.
Morgan Koblinski, of Ohio County, took first place. Ally Wigand, of Jasper High School, was second. Lucy Spaw, from Daviess County, finished in third.

Jessie Creamer – 120th
Four Hopkinsville Tiger runners also took part in the meet.
