It was a pretty good weekend ‘north of the border’ for the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors. HCA traveled to Evansville to take part in a tournament hosted by Bosse High School.

In their first match on Friday night, the Warriors fell to Pike Central, out of Petersburg, Indiana. Pike Central picked up the 6-1 victory. Damian Lopez netted the only goal for the Warriors.

HCA returned to play Saturday morning taking on the host Bosse Bulldogs. Carlos Robles had a big match scoring four goals, while the HCA defense came up with the shutout, as the Warriors took the 6-0 win. Angel Lopez and Kallan Davis added goals for the Warriors.

HCA then finished their day Saturday taking on Knox Central. This one belonged to the Warriors from the very beginning as they rolled to a 10-1 win. Sophomore Angel Lopez scored his first career hat trick. After netting 4 goals earlier in the day, Carlos Robles added 2 more against Knox Central.

Kallan Davis, Damian Lopez, Lucas West, and Liana Carr also found the net for Heritage.

The Warriors are set to get back to action Saturday when they travel to Foundation Christian.
