Dawson Springs put all five of its runners across the finish line in the first 22 places which helped the Panthers to a second place team finish at the Christian County Season Opener Saturday at Hopkinsville.
Yosi McCune was the first Panther runner to cross the finish line in 14th place in a time of 18 minutes and 59 seconds over the 3.1-mile course. He edged teammate Lucas Osborne, who finished in 16th place by nine seconds.
Ethan Osborne was 18th in 19:27, nine seconds faster than his teammate Sean Stallins who was 19th.
Michael Faughn rounded out the scoring for Dawson Springs with a 22nd place finish in 20:15. Stephen Fowler was 43rd.
As a team, Dawson Springs total of 65 points to finish in second place behind Webster County.
