After picking up their first ever 4th Region All A volleyball championship over the weekend, there may have been some Todd County Central Lady Rebel fans that were a little concerned about how the team would come back off of that emotional high to take on Franklin-Simpson in a 13th District contest, that also happened to be the Lady Rebels’ home opener. Turns out there was no real need to worry after all.
The Lady Rebels opened the home portion of the 2022 schedule with a straight-set win over the Lady Wildcats 25-19, 25-12, and 25-18.
Todd County Central scored the first five points of the match and essentially controlled things from that point forward.

Lanie Bivins and Lucy Chester owned things at the net. Each finished with 12 kills in the match. Bivins also had a block. Lynnlee Jones added seven kills to the cause.
Addileigh Wofford was exceptional at setting the table for her teammates. Wofford finished the night with 28 assists in just three sets.
Franklin-Simpson had significant difficulties dealing with the server of the Lady Rebels. Todd County Central had 16 services aces in the match, eight of them coming from Lucy Chester.
The win improves the Lady Rebels to 4-1 on the season. In fact, Todd County Central has not lost a set since their season opening loss to Logan County.
The Lady Rebels get back to action Thursday when they host Muhlenberg County.
