The University Heights Academy Blazers kicked off a busy weekend Friday night by hosting Ohio County. The Eagles came into Givens Field and walked away with a 4-1 win over the host Blazers.

The loss was the second straight for UHA after dropping a tough match Tuesday night at McCracken County.

The UHA goal came on a penalty kick from Clayton Lester after a hand ball in the box was called against Ohio County. Quinton Quarles had six saves in goal for the Blazers.

Ohio County improves to 3-2 with their third straight win.

UHA drops to 4-4.

Not much time to recover for the Blazers as they are back in action Saturday morning. UHA makes the trip to Owensboro to take on the Apollo Eagles, who are looking to end a three-match losing streak.
