
The Caldwell County Lady Tiger volleyball team continued its mastery of 7th District foe Hopkins County Central Thursday night.
Caldwell’s girls swept three sets, winning 25-14, 25-20, 25-14.
It was the 20th straight win for the Lady Tigers over the Lady Storm. Caldwell’s lead in the all-time series is now 44-1.
Hopkins Central has not taken a set from Caldwell County since the 2017 season.
Lily Hoard had a team-high seven kills along with four digs while Ellie Ramey had six kills, six digs and two aces.
Caldwell also got six kills and a block from Katie Menser.
Benashka Thomas had three kills and a block while Kyndra Winters had 23 assists to go with two kills and two digs.
Brylee Butts had two kills and a block while Claire Knoth recorded a team-high 17 digs.
The Lady Tigers are now 5-3.
They will take a week off from competition, playing again next Thursday at Crittenden County.
