Lubas’ 4th Place Finish Leads Falcons at Calloway County

Fort Campbell’s William Lubas took another top-five finish while the Falcons picked up a top-six finish at Saturday’s big area cross country invitational. The Falcons were among the teams taking part in the Calloway County Invitational.

Lubas completed his run in a time of 17:48.1, placing him 5th in the individual competition. Daniel Puckett, of host Calloway County, claimed first place, while Trigg County’s Austin Cavanaugh finished second.

In the team competition, the Falcons ended the meet with 136 points, putting them in sixth place. Marshall County took 1st place, while Dawson Springs finished second.

Individual finishes for the Falcons were:

William Lubas – 5th place
Seth Puraty – 26th place
John Arnold – 37th place
Darrion Hutson – 54th place
Gunner Principe – 57th place
Jayden Perry – 78th place
Adam Claudio – 87th place
