
The Caldwell County Lady Tigers were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw at Crittenden County in soccer action Tuesday night in Marion.
It’s the first time the Lady Rockets have earned a tie with Caldwell.
The Lady Tigers had been 29-0 all-time against the Lady Rockets and defeated Crittenden 7-0 earlier this season in the championship match of the 2nd Region All A Classic.
Olivia Baker scored for Caldwell in the final minute off a corner kich as the Lady Tigers avoided their first loss to Crittenden.
Mariah Merritt also had a goal for the Lady Tigers while Keegan Miller had an assist in the contest.
Rachel McClung recorded six saves in the Caldwell net.
Crittenden got goals from Taylor Guess and Lizzie Campbell.
Hannah Long made 17 saves for the Lady Rockets as Caldwell got off 28 shots.
Caldwell’s girls are now 6-2-2 this season while Crittenden is 4-3-2.
The Lady Tigers will play at home on Thursday night when they host University Heights Academy.
Crittenden’s girls have a 5th District date at Lyon County on Thursday.
