The Henderson County Colonels’ defense has been pretty good so far this soccer season. The northern Colonels hosted the Christian County Colonels Thursday night, and while the offense of the southern Colonels has been vastly improved this season, it had its struggles against Henderson County.
Henderson took control of the match early and never let off the gas on the way to a 10-0 win over Christian County. The win was the sixth by shutout for Henderson County this season, including five straight.
Henderson has not been scored upon since losing 5-1 to McCracken County back on August 16.
The loss drops Christian County to 5-5 on the season. Christian County is back on the pitch Saturday at the Stadium of Champions when the Colonels will take on West Jessamine.
