For the second time in a week, the Lyon County girls’ soccer team earned a seven-goal win over Webster County, blanking the host Lady Trojans on Tuesday behind four goals for Alice Smith.
Smith’s four goals matched her output from the first victory over Webster County, taking her season total to twenty-seven.
Also on the scoresheet, Janessa Desrosiers, Anna White, and Avery White each found the back of the net. Smith, Anna White, and Olivia Adams each notched assists.
Lyon goalkeeper Bailey Breitrick made eight saves to hand Webster County its sixth shutout loss of the season.
The Lady Lyons win their fourth in five outings to improve to 6-5 on the season with a 5th-District matchup with Crittenden County coming up on Thursday.
