The Hopkins Central Lady Storm picked up their second win in a week over the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers Tuesday evening. The Lady Storm picked up a straight-set win in Tiger Gym.
In the opening set, the Lady Storm took the lead right out of the gate with a five-point run to start the match. Hopkinsville would battle back and get within one, but the Lady Tigers could never get to the front as the Lady Storm took the set 25-18.
The second set saw the Lady Storm take the lead early and gradually extend it over the course of the set. Hopkins Central would eventually claim the set 25-17 to go up 2-0 in the match.

Hopkinsville came out and took the lead early in the third set and looked to gain some momentum in the match. However, the Lady Storm would use a couple of big runs to gain control. With Hoptown up 7-2, Central scored seven straight points to go up 9-7. The Lady Tigers roared right back with five straight points of their own.
Then, with Hopkinsville up 18-12, the Lady Storm ran off 12 straight points to grab control of the set. Central would go on to claim a 25-18 win to complete the three-set sweep.
