The Todd County Central Rebels will head into this weekend’s 4th Region All A Classic riding the momentum of a big winning streak. The Rebels tuned up for the tournament by dispatching Logan County 10-0 Thursday night in Elkton.

The Rebels used a balanced attack to cruise past the Cougars with seven different players finding the net.

Todd County Central scored the first goal of the night, just 1:30 into the match, and kept on rolling from there. They would score three goals in an eight-minute span later in the half to extend the lead to 4-0.

The Rebel lead would be 7-0 at the break as they scored three more times over the final 14 minutes of the opening half. Coming out of the half, Todd County Central would score three times in the first 24 minutes of the second half to end the match by the ten-goal rule.

Zack Robinson scored a hat trick to lead the Rebels’ offensive attack, including the game-ending score at the 64:00 mark. Tanner Henderson added a pair of goals for Todd Central.

The Rebels’ defense again was dominant. Todd Central allowed Logan County very few looks at the goal, and then they did, Rebels’ goalie Jonah Rager was there to slam the door shut.

With the shutout win, the Rebels have now outscored their opponents 58-4, on the way to a 10-0-1 record.

Todd Central now moves on to play Glasgow in a 4th Region All A Classic semifinal match Saturday morning at 9:00 at Russellville High School.
