The Fort Campbell girls’ soccer team split a pair of games on Saturday at Grant County, finishing runners-up to the host Lady Braves in the Marshall Auto Group Cup.
Fort Campbell opened with a 4-0 victory over Carroll County for Lady Falcon goalkeeper Emma Gray’s first shutout of the season.
Charlize Cruz struck first for the Lady Falcons against Carroll, followed by a pair of goals from Keelin Gray off assists from Anna Allen.
Allen got on the scoresheet for the final goal, assisted by Abby Eastes.
Allen scored Fort Campbell’s lone goal in the second game, leaving the Lady Falcons tied 1-1 in the second half with Grant County. However, the Lady Braves banged in four goals over the final forty minutes to win 5-1.
Fort Campbell returns to the field on Tuesday when they welcome Paducah Tilghman to post.
