Another big defensive effort from the Todd County Central Rebels Tuesday night, but this time it was not enough. The Rebel offense was not able to find the net as they lost for the first time this season, falling on the road to Franklin-Simpson 1-0 in overtime.

Coach Mike Smith stated his team played well and had a couple of opportunities to put the ball in the net.

The Rebel defense pitched another shutout in regulation but saw the Wildcats end the game with a goal in the first overtime. The goal is only the fifth scored by a Todd Central opponent this season.

Jonah Rager had 11 saves in goal for the Rebels, giving him 79 for the season.

Both matches between the two teams this season have gone past regulation. The Rebels won the first matchup in penalty kicks.

The Rebels drop to 12-1-1 on the year. They will look to rebound when they go on the road to Fort Campbell Thursday evening.
