Jase Hampton’s 60th place finish paced the Todd County Central golfers at Saturday’s Danny Spillman Bowling Green Invitational. The tournament was held at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Hampton shot a 15-over par 87 with a round that included six pars and one birdie.
Todd’s next four golfers finished within two shots of each other.
Preston Rager tied for 73rd place with a round of 91. His day included six pars.
Cole Sawyers, Jacob Brandon, and Noah Rager each shot a 93 to tie for 77th place. Sawyers had a birdie and three pars in his round.
The Christian Academy-Louisville’s Brady Smith shot a 5-under-par to win the event.
As a team, Todd County finished in 17th place.
The Rebels will play in next week’s region tournament at Indian Hills Country Club in Bowling Green.
