Lady Rebels to See New Faces in All A Tournament Pool Play

The Todd County Central Lady Rebels are set to hit the road to Richmond this weekend to play in the All A Classic state volleyball tournament. The Lady Blazers will face a challenging group as they compete in pool play Friday night and Saturday morning, with their sights set on making the championship bracket and having the opportunity to play for the All A title.

Todd Central will begin pool play at 6:45pm Friday as they take on the Lady Raiders from Whitesville Trinity. Trinity currently stands at 16-4. The Lady Raiders have among their wins victories over UHA, Apollo, Owensboro Catholic, and Daviess County. Trinity’s losses have come to Owensboro Catholic, Clarksville, Ohio County, and Logan County.

Their second pool match Friday is at 8:15pm when they take on Raceland. The Lady Rams are currently 15-2. Their two losses are to Ashland Blazer and Fairview. Raceland’s wins include victories over Fairview, West Carter, Morgan County, and Elliott County.

The Lady Rebels will then wrap up pool play Saturday morning with a match against Eminence. The Lady Warriors are 11-6 going into a Thursday night match at Carroll County. Eminence has losses to Kentucky Country Day, Woodford County, South Oldham, Louisville Kentucky Home School, Ballard, and Simon Kenton. Among their wins are victories over Trimble County, Owen County, Carroll County, and Walton-Verona.

The winners and runners-up from each of the four pools will advance to the championship bracket, while the third and fourth place teams in each of the pools will play in the consolation bracket.

The All A State tournament is being played at Eastern Kentucky University.
