UHA’s Ethan Hale enjoyed a four-goal night, and the Blazers overcame a pair of Lyon County hat tricks to knock off the host Lyons 9-6 on Thursday.
The goal haul equals the Blazers’ total over their last five matches and sees them move above .500 at 6-5 with a trip to Trigg County coming up on Monday.
Lyon County countered with three goals each for Colt Bannister and Timothy Stewart. Bannister now has six goals in his last two matches, and Stewart took his season tally to a team-high 18. Walker Suitor added three assists for the Lyons.
Matt Hauret and Clayton Lester each scored twice and had an assist for the Blazers. Lincoln Hauret chipped in a goal and an assist, and Harlow Hampton and Logan Miller each provided a pass for a goal. Hale capped his big night with a pair of assists, and Quinton Quarles made nine save for the Blazers.
Lyon County slips to 4-10 and will head to Morton’s Gap for a Saturday matchup with Hopkins County Central.
