The Lyon County girls’ soccer team has hit a bit of a slide recently, following three straight victories with just as many losses after a 3-0 setback at Hopkins County Central on Saturday.
The Lady Lyons slip to 6-8 with a 5th-District matchup with Trigg County coming up on Tuesday at Lee S. Jones Park.
Priya Holmes and Lillie Melton each had a goal and an assist for the Lady Storm, taking their season goal totals to 19 and 10, respectively.
Lilly Armour added a goal, and Ashdyn Dugger provided an assist.
Brooklyn Clark made ten saves in goal to record her second straight shutout and fourth of the season.
Lyon goalkeeper Maddie Russell finished with 12 saves.
Hopkins Central improved to 8-4-1 and will head to Hopkinsville on Monday for a match with University Heights Academy.
