Jacob Wease needed just three seasons to become Trigg County’s all-time career passing touchdown leader.
The Wildcat quarterback threw three touchdown passes Friday at Fulton County. His third was a 7-yard scoring strike to Ivey Redd in the second quarter that gave him 57 for his career, passing Dan Moser’s record of 56.
Wease also moved past the 5,000-yard mark in Friday’s game. Only he and Moser have thrown for 5,000 yards as a Wildcat.
His 13 completions Friday moved him past 300 for his career, joining Moser, Cam Jordan, and Luke McKenzie on Trigg County’s career completion list.
Wease needs just 356 yards to become Trigg County’s all-time passing leader.
