Fatu Crain continued her weekly ritual of leading the Trigg County girls’ cross country runners across the finish line.
The Lady Wildcat junior finished in 15th place at Saturday’s Marshall County Invitational in Draffenville. Crain ran a time of 22:20 on the 3.1-mile course that will also serve as the region meet course.
Her teammate Alliyah Thomas finished in 33rd place with a time of 23:51. Sophomore Alex Smith ran a time of 27:33 to finish in 91st place.
Lauren Eftink of Cape Girardeau (Mo.) Notre Dame High School won the race in a time of 19:37. Trigg County did not have the five runners needed to post a team score.
