The Christian County Lady Colonels picked up a solid road win Tuesday evening. The Lady Colonels traveled to Dixon and came away with a straight-set win over the Webster County Lady Trojans.
Christian County opened the match by cruising to a 25-14 win in the opening set to go up 1-0.
The Lady Trojans fought back a bit in the second set, but it was still the Lady Colonels who took the set in the end 25-18 to go up two sets to one.
Christian County then took care of business in the final set, running past Webster County 25-13 to complete the sweep.
The win improves the Lady Colonels to 7-18 on the season. They will return to action this weekend in the annual Quad State event in Paducah.
