The Heritage Christian Academy volleyball team remained undefeated against KCAA competition with a 3-0 victory over visiting Valor Christian on Thursday.
After the Lady Warriors honored their four seniors ahead of the match, they wasted no time jumping out to a 1-0 lead with a 25-10 victory in the opening set.
A 25-11 victory followed in the 2nd, and the Lady Warriors wrapped up the match with a 25-7 result in the 3rd.
Elle Heltsley and Mya Goodwin both finished with 12 kills. Goodwin had seven aces, and Heltsley added five with four digs. Katie Cansler notched five kills, and Macy King had four digs.
HCA moves to 10-0 in KCAA play, with the Super Regional set for October 21. The KCAA State Tournament at West Jessamine High School follows a week later.
