For the second consecutive year, a Heritage Christian Academy player has been named Mr. Soccer by the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association.

HCA senior Carlos Robles received the award Saturday at the conclusion of the KCAA State Tournament in Elizabethtown.

The award combines excellence in academics and athletics plus work in the mission field and is voted on by a committee involving member schools and the KCAA.

Robles was also the lone HCA player named to the KCAA All-State Team and the KCAA All-State Tournament Team after leading the Warriors in scoring in 2022.

HCA finished the season with a 16-6-1 record and advanced to the KCAA state semifinals.

Kris Ruth was named Mr. Soccer in 2021. Robles is the fourth HCA player to win Mr. Soccer, joining Ruth, Matt Farthing in 2014 and Zach Garnett in 2011.
