Caldwell County had its struggles down the stretch this season, going 1-8 in its last nine games.
However, the Lady Tigers bounced back to sweep Hopkins County Central in three sets Monday night in the opening match of the 7th District tournament.
Caldwell will face Madisonville-North Hopkins in Tuesday’s district championship match.
Lady Tiger head coach Daniel Cortner said the postseason brings a fresh start for teams.
