Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Kaitlyn Orange has been named the region player of the year by the Kentucky High School Volleyball Coaches Association.
The senior hitter enters Wednesday’s region semifinal with 371 kills, 314 digs, 61 aces, and 14 blocks in helping lead the Lady Maroons to a 27-10 record.
Orange and the other 15 region players of the year will be honored at the 2022 KHSAA State Tournament at George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester between the semi-final matches on Friday, November 4.
