While neither team made it to the seeded bracket, there were some very positive moments for the bowlers from Christian County High School Saturday as they took part in their first official event of their debut season. The teams were in Mayfield to compete in the Early Season Region 1 Bowling Tournament.
Aiden Lewis had a big day for the Colonels rolling a 232 in his opening game of the day, including seven strikes in a row. Lewis had a three-game series of 534. Lewis had the two highest games of the day for Christian County, while Jerry Foster had the third-highest with a 159.
