Teams from Kentucky and Tennessee will be coming together in Elkton this holiday season. Athletic officials at Todd County Central High School have announced that they will be hosting the first ever ‘Battle at the Border Christmas Tournament presented by United Southern Bank’ December 28-30th.
Four teams from Kentucky and four teams from Tennessee will be taking part in the event. Each team will play three games in the event.
The Kentucky teams, in addition to the host Rebels, are Trigg County, Heritage Christian, and Hopkins Central. The teams from south of the state line are Central Magnet, West Creek, Gordonsville, and Covington.
First round matchups on December 28 will have Todd Central vs HCA at 3pm, Hopkins Central vs Central Magnet at 4:30, Trigg County vs West Creek at 6pm, and Gordonsville vs Covington at 7:30pm.
There will be four more games on December 29 and four on December 30.
