With a 3-pointer from the right corner against Livingston Central Tuesday night, Lyon County junior Travis Perry moved to the top of the Lyon County scoring list with 3,301 points. While the player he passed to get to the top, former Lyon County and WKU player Ty Rogers, was unable to be at the game, Ty’s dad Jeff Rogers was there and spoke on behalf of his son during the celebration.

  1. Not hard to do when your daddy is the coach and never pulls you out of the game. Disguisting how his dad bounced around to different schools. How old is yhis kud 20??

  2. I know this comment is not related to Travis’ record breaking performance Tuesday night, but I wanted to share my thoughts regarding a Lyon County basketball topic. I think it is an absolute shame that Julain Tackett and the KHSAA are denying Braden Nelson the opportunity to play his senior year season with the Lyons. It seems to me that it is obvious he must not be at Lyon simply to play basketball because he is still here in school after being ruled ineligible. I would think if he was here just for basketball, he would have returned to Webster to play. It is shameful what is happening to this young man and his family. If anyone knows Julian personally, please call him and attempt to persuade him to reverse this terrible action. I assure you if I knew him at all, I would be on the phone in a heartbeat. Stay strong Bradin Nelson! Jeff Rogers
